I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1969 and my law degree at the University Of Pacific McGeorge School Of Law in 1974. I have 36 years of experience in insurance defense and civil trial practice. My practice focuses on complex litigation in a variety of areas including family law.

I am admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Northern and Eastern United States District Courts of California, and all California State Courts. I am a member, and Past Director on the Board of the Northern California and Nevada Association of Defense Counsel. I also serve on the Board of California Defense Counsel. I am an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. I am an arbitrator on the Shasta and Tehama Counties Superior Court Panel, a past member of the California State Bar Committee on Administration of Justice, past President of the Shasta-Trinity County Bar Association from 2006 through 2011. I have been recognized by Law & Politics as one of Northern California's "Super Lawyers".
